Arm injuries
Most arm injuries are fairly straightforward fractures caused by slipping or tripping. Whilst most broken arms will heal within a few months a serious break may take much longer leading to discomfort and possibly to a permanent reduction in the movement of the arm and in its sensitivity or in the very worst of cases to amputation.
Even apparently straightforward arm injuries can have unforeseen consequences. For example, consider the impact upon an elderly person who lives on their own. Very often we find that they will really struggle to come to terms with their injury. Their confidence gets knocked for six and they become reluctant to get out and about as before. What on the face of it is a straightforward physical injury has all sorts of attendant psychological issues. This calls for a sympathetic case by case approach which we believe is best delivered by a Solicitor experienced in looking at the Client’s circumstances as a whole.
