Whilst it is no longer necessary to supply a Home Information Pack before marketing your property for sale you must still provide an energy performance certificate (EPC). You must also have an EPC in place if you intend to let your property
The EPC records how energy efficient a property is as a building and provides an A-G rating similar to the labels found on new domestic appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines.
You must have instructed someone to prepare an EPC before your property can be marketed for sale.
